For the seasoned professional and the aspiring photographer, having the right camera backpack to meet all your needs is crucial. Brevitē has designed a camera bag that blends functionality with style and innovation, which I'm currently enamored with. Boasting over 10,000+ five-star ratings and 4x Award Winning, these bags appeal to urban explorers and wilderness adventurers alike. They have amassed over 2 Million followers online, so they must be doing something right. As someone who enjoys photography in the hustle and bustle of the city as well as the tranquility of nature, I've personally put the bag to test and discovered countless ways to utilize it.

Humble Beginnings

The innovative force behind this brand based in Brooklyn is a trio of brothers. With a background in industrial design, the eldest brother embarked on a journey to develop a sustainable product that aligned with their commitment to benefiting both people and the environment. Their journey began in 2015 in their dorm room and a single sewing machine. Now, with over 1000+ prototypes later, they unveiled their first invention: a unique hybrid camera backpack.

Thoughtful In Practice

Brevitē doesn't just have your back with their innovative designs; they're also deeply committed to sustainability and community. All of their products use recycled fabrics, but have been put through 46 tests to ensure that they last a lifetime – because the most sustainable practice is to use something for as long as possible. They also have a Lifetime Warranty in case it does not last your lifetime. In a remarkable display of solidarity and community support, they contributed over $180,000 to charities based in New York throughout the pandemic and have committed $500,000 of backpacks to America's youth.

The Perfect Bag

At the age of 10, I was introduced to the world of photography by my uncle, who took me on a photographic expedition through the lush forests of Oregon. Before the first light of dawn, we ventured into the heart of nature, where he handed me an old yet reliable film camera to capture the misty morning. That day, a deep-rooted love for photography was kindled within me, leading to years of accumulating various pieces of photographic equipment.

However, my journey hit a bump when, during a trip, I accidentally left my camera bag in a café. The next day, it was gone, leaving me with a profound sense of loss and a daunting task of slowly rebuilding my collection. The challenge of finding a suitable camera bag that didn't overtly showcase its valuable contents seemed insurmountable until I came across the Jumper by Brevitē. This bag, with its understated "Pine Green" hue, could easily be mistaken for a regular backpack filled with books and snacks, perfectly concealing my photography equipment worth thousands. Brevitē also provides a quiz to help find the perfect match.

Overdesigned In Just The Right Way

The sleek and understated design of this bag features compartments for virtually everything imaginable. Right now, it accommodates two DSLRs of different sizes and two substantial lenses within its primary section. However, what really astonishes is the meticulous functionality designed into every aspect. An ingeniously positioned side access allows for the swift removal of your camera, enabling quick shots without the need to take off the backpack entirely. This feature simplifies spontaneous photography significantly. Additionally, the bag offers ample space for an array of items including multiple flashes, cables, external storage devices, travel documents, a set of spare clothes, and much more.

Besides various hidden pockets, this bag boasts customizable padded dividers that maintain its shape and structure. It comes fully furnished with a strap for attaching to luggage, a tripod mount, an integrated sleeve for water bottles, and a distinct water-resistant section capable of accommodating a laptop up to 16 inches, facilitating mobile editing. The zippers may require a bit more effort to operate, but this is by design—they're built to be weatherproof! Honestly, this backpack has everything.
